Mark Feffer is an independent journalist who focuses on topics related to human resources, analytics and related technologies. In addition to editing the HCM Technology Report, he writes frequently for HR Magazine, SHRM Online, Dice Insights and the web sites of IBM, WinterWyman, GuideSpark and Staffing Industry Analysts. In 2017, his HR Magazine story on hiring former prisoners won the Society of Professional Journalists/DC Chapter’s Deadline Award for best trade-media feature article and was a finalist for the Jesse H. Neal Award.
Over more than 25 years, Mark has written, edited and produced hundreds of stories, videos and multimedia programs on talent management, analytics, technology, careers and business. His articles have been published by Entrepreneur.com, Dow Jones, Factiva and Bloomberg.
He was one of the first to report on how algorithms are changing the recruiter’s role, the growing need for Chief Analytics Officers and the synergies between artificial intelligence and analytics. He’s also covered trends in software development, enterprise technology, online consumer products, as well as corporate taxes, personal finance and investing. As Managing Editor of Dice, his content-development strategy resulted in a year-on-year traffic increase of 58 percent.
